This summers most irresistible festival has upped the standard once more, just when you thought Creamfields couldn’t get any bigger Cream HQ announce that clubbing sensation Bugged Out will return to host the BUGGED OUT ARENA headlined by Dave Clarke and featuring Green Velvet, Justin Robertson, JoJo de Freq and James Holroyd with more to be announced next week.
Johnno Burgess from Bugged Out says: “Bugged Out were a big part of Creamfields between ‘98 and 2003, some of the club’s most memorable moments happened at the festival, so we’re thrilled to be invited back to be part of their tenth anniversary. We’ve put together a line-up of Bugged Out favourites and we can’t wait for the big day.”
Bugged Out made it’s name at Manchester’s Sankeys and are master pioneers of some of the worlds greatest dance artistes including Chemical Brothers and Daft Punk. These kings of the underground will be returning for a highly anticipated north west homecoming after 5 years away.
Dave Clarke has been described as one of the best techno and electro DJs in the world. He champions in a league of his own with after-hours energy laced with surly hip hop funk, a master in every sense of the word. Green Velvet will be flying in from Chicago to lead the way into La La Land along with Justin Robertson whose influence on dance music is legendary. Justin spearheaded bespoke acid house and has remixed for the likes of The Whip and Fatboy Slim both of which will be joining him at Creamfields. Also stepping up to the Bugged Out decks and making her debut will be JoJo de Freq, a DJ set maverick that is leading the way in the electro techno scene, she will be joined by Bugged Out resident James Holroyd
And it doesn’t stop there, the Cream team are pleased to announce more live acts to the bill including Hercules and Love Affair feat. Kim Ann, Nomi, Jason, Carter, Guy, Morgan, Andrew & Andy who are causing a storm worldwide with their incredible self-titled debut album. A musical collaboration between some of the world’s first-rate musicians fuse a live big-band sound with the DJ expertise of Andy Butler and guest vocalists like Antony Hegarty. They will be joined by indie electro 4 piece Late of the Pier a band acclaimed for their electric live shows and raw energy, set to set the ‘Fields alight with their mix of club culture and indie inspirations.
Creamfields has broken a new dawn for dance festivals and revolutionised the events landscape delivering what Virtual Festivals have described as ‘This years most imaginative festival line up’. The diverse additions and line up mix genres like never before. Bringing music lovers together for the Summers hottest field fiesta that celebrates Creamfields decade at the forefront of dance its set over 2 days with luxury boutique camping for the first time.
