The UKs hottest new 24 hour music festival confirms its full line up today. Gary Numan, Ladytron, Morcheeba, Nouvelle Vague, The Egg, Lykke Li and Pacific will all grace the gardens of Newburgh Priory in North Yorkshire on 30th August.
National and local newspapers continue to give The Magic Loungeabout the highest accolade proclaiming it to be the hottest festival Yorkshire has ever produced. Helping to put Yorkshire firmly on the festival map.
French new wave act Nouvelle Vague will begin their timeless acoustic covers of 80s classics, followed by Electropop band Pacific continuing the chilled vibe during the day. Electrofunk band, The Egg and melodic festival favourites Morcheeba will take guests through to the Cocktail Hour at sun down.
Eclectic disco-pop from Ladytron will up the tempo, before the headline performance from electronica pioneer, Gary Numan. An after show party under the stars will be held in the ruined West Wing of the Priory, until 3am. The legend John Kelly will be celebrating 20 years of house music so expect some long overdue nostalgia.
The Magic Loungeabout is the first event of its kind in the UK and aims to offer an intimate and contemporary alternative to the summer festival scene. Taking place in the stunning surroundings of Newburgh Priory in the North Yorkshire national park. The event offers a stylish and intimate alternative for people who want to get away from the queues and overcrowding which are common at summer festivals.

We've signed a fantastic line-up of acts from across the world, from the ‘Godfather' of synthpop, Gary Numan, to the masters of melodic electronica, Morcheeba. The Magic Loungeabout will be the perfect opportunity to lounge in the sunshine with a cocktail and the very best in chilled ‘folktronica' before enjoying a more upbeat electronica vibe for the night time performances."
The team behind The Magic Loungeabout has worked on various renowned music events across the country including the multi award winning Secret Garden Party, and created their version of the ‘ideal stress-free festival' using feedback from event-goers across the UK.
Overnight camping in the gardens of Newburgh Priory will be available at no extra cost with a boutique camping package available in the Yurt Village, all decorated with wool blankets, including a choice of breakfast and newspaper delivery service for an added touch of luxury.
In order to keep the crowds to a minimum, a limited number of tickets have been made available for The Magic Loungeabout. Admission is £78 and children under nine go free.
